Giving Back to Our Veterans

Blog Post created by michaelt Administrator on Aug 11, 2016

One of the best things about working at Lifesize is that community isn't just an online communication tool. Community, giving back, paying it forward are part of what we live and breathe. Call it what you will, we see it as part of our core values and Making Every Day Matter.

This past Friday we had the opportunity to give back to those men and women who served our country and sacrificed for us. We were able to provide breakfast to over 300 veterans and staff memebers at the Clinical Home of the Nation's Premier Veteran Warriors, part of the Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System. Not only did our employees embrace the opportunity to give back personally (as you can see in the above pic), we were also there to donate over $400 in clothing and shoes and another $100 to allow the clinic to participate in the upcoming Veterans Day parade in November.

Lifesize is a company that believes in having a place in the community. Our CEO is a veteran, so this cause was especially meaningful. We are continuing to find new ways to give back to the community which has given us so much.

Whether we're building bikes for kids, taking a Saturday to clean up the greenbelt, looking out for our neighbors and friends when the storms washed through Wimberly... We're just letting you know who we are and what we believe in. This is the company you are doing business with.
