rev. May 11, 2018 -- Update port slide 34 to differentiate Icon and 220
Out of all the courses to the LTS certification this is the only section that is worth while. Lots of useful info in a simple, easy to read layout. Still gets me as to why all this content is not streamed using technology that Lifesize sells. Online training in Power Point ? From my personal experience, the whole training system needs to be looked at and overhauled.
Both Kenneth and I have reached out to you, and you may trust that I have a vested interest in getting this information corrected. To answer the question about streaming the information, we provide live classes several times a month that are focused on the user and admin level Lifesize Cloud participant. Feel free to review our classes here: Lifesize University (Training).
While we provide recording capabilities for our products, creating and editing videos in line with an almost continuous integration development cycle causes rather obvious editing issues. Hence, we went with a format that allows for rapid change of information and updating. That said, we recognize there are issues with the slides, we are working out of band to update them.
Your patience is appreciated.
Now that i have update my flash for Firefox -I have to agree - I understand protecting your IP - but if Microsoft , Dell and other can provide a download option for their Reference Documentation and training videos. I do not understand why Lifesize does not offer the same. You offer "Lifesize Cloud Admin and user Training" twice a week, unless there is a major change or something every week. Why not offer video playback or just create a downloadable presentation file? shouldn't the goal be make it easier not harder to learn and support the your product?
Thanks for this Michael, really helpful and informative
Kerry's issues are real, though, still. There is a lot of content to go through... working on it.
I have updated this content. Spelling and layout issues are corrected, as well as some functionality errors. It is also no longer a powerpoint but a pdf.
For sure Michael, such documentation is always needing updating
Thanks Michael - so long as I can access the info in my preferred browser Firefox and can download it for later review I am happy
thanks again - there is a lot of work ahead of us, all in the new year
Wow what an improvement! layout makes sense now, I can easily find items I am looking for. This document is worth printing and keeping handy.
