IMPORTANT: Set the number of days to keep inactive meetings

Lifesize Cloud Administrators,


As you may know, in your Admin Console you can set the number of days to keep inactive meetings. This feature automatically removes unused meetings from your account to help reduce administrator maintenance. A meeting is inactive when no calls are made for the number of days you set.




Chat is currently not considered an activity within a meeting. Therefore, if you use any of your meetings for chat only, the meeting will be deleted after the number of days you set. This will also delete your chat history permanently.


We are working to change this behavior and to include chat in the list of activities that keep a meeting’s status active.


Meanwhile, we recommend that you check your current settings on the Meetings tab and extend the number of days to keep inactive meetings, especially if the above scenario applies to any of your meetings.
