One of the main requests we receive from speaking with customers and from the community is around adding more control over meetings. While informal meetings are important, so is the ability to run a tightly controlled meeting. There are common scenarios where you need to make sure that the meeting is run in a certain order and without accidental interruptions.

We are in the process of developing several major improvements to put more meeting  controls in the hands of the meeting moderator. One of the first improvements released will be a change around how screen sharing works.

With the next release of our desktop clients and upcoming Icon release, you will no longer be able to take over control of a presentation that is in progress. You will need the presenter to stop screen sharing before a new presentation can occur. This will address one of our most common complaints when a presenter accidentally loses control to another presenter.

This is the first of several important steps we are taking. More updates to follow in the upcoming months.
