Icon Factory Reset via Display UI:

This is one of many ways to perform a factory reset on your Icon device.

In particular - this method will use the Lifesize remote control to navigate the on-display User Interface.

*please note a factory reset will wipe out all of your local settings*


First: select the right-most option from the top-most row of options 'System'>


Next: from the subsequent row of options, select the right-most option again 'Administrator'>

The default Administrator password from this menu option is '1234'

Assuming the password you entered was correct:

Finally: from the subsequent row of options, select the middle option 'Reset'>


Icon Factory Reset via Web GUI:


Step 1: To manually reset your Icon, browse to your unit's web interface by going to its IP address. You may see a notification that tells you the site is not secure. Bypass this using whatever method your browser offers.

Step 2: Once you are to the login page, login with the default login of support, with the password support as well.

Step 3: Once you are signed in navigate to the Maintenance Tab.

Step 4: In this tab, open the System Reset section and click on System reset.


Note: by the above process Icon device will be completely reset to default and need to re-configure the icon device from the beginning.
