Mobile App/Desktop App - Connecting to Lifesize Cloud Calls as a Guest

Connecting to Lifesize Calls via Desktop

 

 

1) Open the Desktop Application in Windows: 

 

 

 

 

2) Click on the "I am a guest" tab:

 

 

3) Fill in the "Name", "Work Email" and "Call Extension" fields. The "Work Email" field is not required. 

 

 

4) Set up your Camera Device in "Camera Preferences" and select "Next" when done

 

 

5) You may call out using your "Computer Audio" or you may call in using a phone to get audio using the "Call in by phone" option

 

 

6) If selecting "Computer Audio" select your microphone and speakers you will be using for the call. Green bars should be coming from "Microphone Level" if your Input device is properly configured. You may click on "Test my speakers" to test your speakers before the call.  Click on "Join" after your testing is successful. 

 

 

7) You should now connect to your meeting. If the meeting has a PIN, you may be prompted to enter in the PIN at that time.

Connecting to Lifesize Calls via Mobile App

 

1) Open the Mobile Application on your iOS or Android mobile device (We suggest that you connect to a 5Ghz WiFi network before joining a call) 

 

 

2) Enter in your name under the name "Name" field and the extension you're dialing out to in the "Extension" field and tap on "Join"

 

 

 

3) The mobile app will connect to the extension of the meeting/endpoint you entered and you should join the meeting shortly.
