I'd like "on screen menu timeout"
The logic is pretty simple: If the system has a Phone 2 then the touchscreen is the preferred interface therefore I don't want to see the on-screen menu unless IR is received from the remote.
There is an option available on ICON Web UI ---> Preferences ---> Video ----> Enable Sleep.
If this option is enabled, The video system, camera, and display automatically go into sleep mode if 10 minutes elapse without user interaction.
I believe the customer is looking to ONLY get the on-display-UI to disappear while keeping the system live/awake. -- using only the phone2 for UI/user-input.
On-display-UI disappear when ICON is in sleep mode. In this mode, 2nd Generation phone shows all available option on touchscreen display.
If try to make Call or perform camera actions (zoom or Pan/tilt) using touchscreen display on 2nd Generation Phone then On-display-UI appear again.
This feature request is to keep the On-display-UI hidden while making calls / performing camera actions from the gen2 phone touchscreen interface.
I agree 100%. We plan to keep refining this. I want to see a mode option where the onscreen Icon UI dropdown does not appear when you are using the phone.
Similar to Telepresence mode on the 220 series?
