Submitting feature request to add G.729 audio codec to Icon endpoints. Currently not listed when logging into Web UI with Support credentials under Support - Communications - Audio Codecs.
Hi Jorge, can you add more details about the reasons to add this codec?
PER CUSTOMER -
Our globally audio codec standard is g729 for all calls through Cisco call manager. Thus we can’t make SIP calls from an ICON through call manager due to codec mismatch.
We were also curious why the 220 systems supported this, but the ICONs don’t.
