The dashboard is great for a quick overview of the Cloud usage, but with an exploitable data format, our customers could create their own reports and focus on what they really want to highlight.
This would be a very useful feature and would assist with management reporting.
In our company one person literally spends hours on one day every week just copying-and-pasting usage metrics from the Lifesize admin dashboard into spreadsheets and our BI platform. Please let us export this data, it would be a lifesaver. Thank you!
What exactly are the metrics you need to take Bobby? If you could write yourself a CSV, using only the data currently available, what would it be?
I am new in this community. It could be interesting to have a button to export in CSV all informations for every meetings (name of the room, users (guest or not), time of the meeting ...
I agree with Stephane, the metrics we could use would be almost anything you can grab: calls, name and numbers/or if they are a guest, number of callers in a call or meeting, time call/meeting lasted, country of origin if possible or at least the node(s) it went through, stats on the call if possible like jitter or dropped frames or even just a call QoS. Also device or app used to make the call. Right now the metrics seems to be very arbitrary because I monitor calls and see varying degrees of info being reported back. This would really help with reporting at re-subscription time..
Full agree too :
We are looking in details the logs of lifesize connection to analyse who is using the Visio conference , when, how long, wich and who are the participants, wich type of device..;;etc. 1 ) The data sent are very important curently for me to have indicators of usage .
2 )If we could get this file information automatically every day , it will be very also very useful and interesting to upload part of these information (time day, duration , user .....) in some internal tools.
example of informations
name of Lifesize user , Lifesize VR N°, date of visio, time start , time end , duration, name or VR N° of attendees, type of device used.
Retrieving data ...
