Dial Skype4Business/Lync from cloud using same domain registered to cloud

    Currently we are able to dial a skype user from cloud if and only if the skype user's email address does not exist inside the cloud infrastructure.

     

    This Idea proposes an option for cloud subscribers to remove their domain from the existing lookup logic. If this option is turned on calls to User@corporatedomain.com are immediately forwarded to microsoft's infrastructure.

     

    Calls into cloud from third party endpoints may still route correctly if the lookup logic for incoming calls to cloud is different from the lookup logic for outgoing calls from cloud.
