It would be awesome if the ICONs provided USB 3.0 interface for video & audio output for connecting to a computer for use as a web cam. This would allow for interfacing to conferencing platforms such as standard Skype which is not currently supported by the ICON series.
That is correct Kevin, I should have been more specific. The request is for Icon models 450, 600, and 800 provide USB Audio and Video out. When I spoke to Support and asked if any Icons can provide this - short of the Flex - I was told no and that I should make a feature request.
Understood, like a dual purpose H.323/SIP system or USB. It looks like some customers are already using the 10X camera of Icon 600, 800, and 220's for video but this request would also add audio.
