In smaller conferences with less than 5 people that still would require a moderator:
It would be nice if the moderator did not show up as a participant.
While we can 'mute video', the box is still there and could be considered a waste of space.
But What if you want the moderator to show up? For instance, if a teacher is meeting with their class and wants to utilize moderator controls to mute/unmute participants. A moderator is not always someone sitting off to the side managing a meeting for someone else.
I think the way to implement this would be to allow laptop moderation without actually being required to join the conference. I find this problem when you're in a room with an endpoint and want to moderate it from your laptop, it still forces you to join the meeting when you're already there.
Hi, I am currently researching additional moderator capabilities for our products here at Lifesize. This is a very important topic to us, and it appears that it is also important to you. I’d like to invite you to participate in this 15m research survey on what Moderator Controls matter the most to you. It will take about 15 minutes to complete, but can be submitted and returned to edit your responses. https://forms.gle/WowXf39BZpA7fgKq6 We’ll be closing this survey at the end of the week. Friday April 5th. (But if you aren’t able to complete this by then, simply fill out your information at the beginning of the survey and submit it. So that we may follow up with you.)
