Can there be a way of preventing users from creating VMR's, as we have many customer's who are hitting their limits?
Thanks for posting this idea. We are planning to provide a global account setting in the admin console to restrict meeting creation from happening outside of the admin console. If this setting is chosen, all users will be prevented from creating meetings using the apps or add-ons. But admins could still create meetings from the Admin Console assuming the limit has not yet been met. This work is currently being scoped and we plan to start development this summer.
Future iterations of this will allow you to restrict specific users from creating meetings, but not all. But that is something that will come later with user roles.
To clarify, we would allow customers to choose specifically if they wanted to turn off meeting creation for permanent meetings in the scenario that they wanted to still allow users to create one-time meetings, which have no limit. The option would exist for both meeting types.
