Is it possible to connect the Icon 600 directly to a Networker for ISDN support?
We have tried the following basic scenarios and working fine;
1. Icon600 and Networker via Access and make call from Icon to Tethered ISDN EP(<Service prefix of networker> and followed by <ISDN number of EP>)
Eg: ICON(GK) --> Networker(GK) in TCS4 mode --> Tethered LS EP (Dial pattern: <Service prefix of networker><ISDN no. LS EP>)
2. Icon600 and Networker via Access and make call from Tethered ISDN EP to Icon(<ISDN number of Netowrker> ** <Extension of Icon>)
Eg: Tethered LS EP --> Networker(GK) in TCS4 mode --> ICON(GK) (Dial pattern: <ISDN no. Networker>**<Extension of ICON>)
You may face the issue reported in PKS-3692 while call connection wrt to the ISDN channel bonding.
Observations: Calls are connected successfully and FECC working fine.
No. You need UVC Access in between.
That is interesting. So with Access as the gatekeeper and Networker and ICON 600 on the same IP network, ICON 600 can make ISDN calls. I think the documentation on ICON 600 should reflect this rather that simply stating no support for ISDN.
Is it possible with UVC 3.0?
No, because UVC 3.0 does not include UVC Access.
