Outlook Add-in Proxy Authentication Issue

It seems that the Outlook add-in is using cached proxy authentication from Internet Explorer. I do not use IE often and my default browser is Chrome. When I try to use the Outlook add-in I get this error:

The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required. We were unable to connect to the network. Please check your connection and try again.


If I open IE and start browsing the Internet, the Outlook add-in will start working. About 10 minutes after I close IE, the error will return. Is anyone else experiencing this?
