Hello, Does anyone could provide the list of the Linux services running for the UVC Platform (v1.4.4/v3.0) please? Thank you!
We are running a custom security-hardened build and are not readily willing to share the individual packages installed on the platform. I hope you understand, but that information is not something we wish to publicly convey.
Thank you Michael, I do understand.
My concern is that if we run our UVC on a hosted server with no monitoring on the VM, how can we be warned in the event of the Platform crashes?
The SNMP traps are just used for applications not for the Platform itself...
Definitely not ignoring you. I've started an internal conversation here... I'll keep you posted.
Looks like we do have an SNMP trap you can monitor. If you monitor SNMP traps with the object identifier 'uvcplatform' and notification type of 'abruptShudown', you should see platform issues.
Hope this helps.
Whilst Cecile's question seems to be answered, I would think that you have an obligation to answer the original question in full as Ubuntu is built on the open source Linux under which you are required to provide the source for the system and any modifications to it of which the init system is a part - hence providing either a list of the services or the source code for all files under /etc/init.d (which would correctly answer the question of what services are running) is a requirement of the open source license in this case?
Quite a bit on license compliance on this page if it helps:
