I have some questions about cloud web version.
As I know, this web version isn't supported about recording.
when would it be possible to use the record functioning?

Any plans to allow recording outside a video call?
Sounds like a great feature to request, Jon.
This is done right here in Community - by logging a feature request in the ideas area. Once you’ve posted your idea, other customers can upvote it and if we get enough interest the engineers will implement the feature. The product management team take a special interest in that area of community.

Your question is a bit tricky. Since the storage of the recording is inside Lifesize Cloud, and your client/terminal is somewhere on the Internet, you must establish a video call between you and something in the Cloud, and then start the recording.
But you don't have to call somebody else if you only want to record yourself.
Just create a VMR for you, call into it, and hit the record button. You will get what I assume you mean by "out of call recording".
Thanks Marek, I get what you are saying. I was thinking about it in terms of how video centre works since we have one deployed on campus and have been using it for the past couple of years. We found that the majority of the time, recordings are 1 to many (outside of a call) and we've recorded very few video conference calls. Your suggestion is a good way of achieving that same affect using Cloud Amplify. Thanks!
You could still do a feature request for this (this is what I'd thought you'd wanted - Video Centre like functionality outside of a call) and use Marek's awesome workaround in the mean time of course.
