Any endpoint on Cloud can receive calls on both H.323 and SIP from anyone and can place H.323 and SIP calls to anyone with a video address that can be resolved on the internet (i.e. it's not a private IP address)
Both Lifesize Cloud and UVC Multipoint support SIP and H.323 protocols.
We don't have a competitive analysis only between Lifesize Cloud and UVC Multipoint because Lifesize Cloud is much more than just a MCU.

but when we join a room220 to cloud, the h.323 is unchecked and grey.
and we can't call the 220 by IP before.
will that be something to do with the cloud admin,
as the account we used on the 220 is not an admin account.
Ben, a Cloud registered 220 can be called over the public internet by dialing it's firstname.lastname@example.org (email@example.com), the IP address of the Cloud node ## extension (22.214.171.124##1234 however not all manufacturers support this method), or by simply dialing lifesizecloud.com or the IP address of the Cloud node and then entering the extension after the IVR greeting. We do not recommend using a public IP address on a Cloud registered 220 as it is not necessary to receive calls from the internet and make the system vulnerable to spam attacks.
