So if by chance someone put in email information that was incorrect when they were first setting up the email info for sending an invite, how would you go about changing that to the correct info?
Clare and I discussed and found the fix.

Let me explain more fully...there are actually 2 problems:
1. Our organization uses Google apps as our email and document handling service but we still have our email address resolved to our domain name as we need that identity for our organization. So when the cloud app is loaded and you want to invite someone to a meeting via an email we get a simplified list of choices how the email is chosen. So this person happened to put in google+ as the email sever and now when you click on invite the app takes you to the google home search page and sits there. To change this is now impossible as even an uninstall leaves the info in the registry so they can never use the invite via email function now.
2. When trying to use the invite by calendar it tries to open Outlook and there doesn't seem to be any kind of function to change that even though the could extension has been loaded into Chrome..
Anyone have any work around's for this?
Sent you an email but I can definitely help out with this. Give me a shout on Cloud as soon as you have time .
I tried the fix you posted below but it isn't working. When I go to the Chrome settings>Handlers the gmail is listed as mail.google.com instead of gmail.com. Can you help with this?
Sure thing! Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can schedule a quick call.
Note: mail.google.com should redirect you to gmail.com...is this not the case here?
Here is a link to another location with the information on how to set your default email application. This location has screen shots along with the instructional text: http://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/set-gmail-as-browser-default-email-client-ht
Thank you for this, Selina!!!
