I have a licence for this, but the record button on the Icon 600 doesn't do anything. How do I make it work?
Though we are already exchanging emails on this, I wanted to answer here for everyone else's visibility!
I looked in your account and it does show recording (Amplify) to be added to the account and turned on. To confirm, just login to manage.lifesizecloud.com and go to your name in the top right, from there press advanced settings and go to features and options. You’ll then see a section for Record and Share where you can check “Allow Recording” now all of your devices and people can recording while their on a call.

I have actually just worked this out myself..
I had already checked the setting you mention and it was already correct (recording was already allowed). But when I tried to start a recording from the icon, nothing happened. The dot didn’t stay red and no video appeared in the dashboard after the call.
I was racking my brains trying to figure it out and thought I'd check every setting in the web interface. I found Preferences > Record and Stream and unticked the box next to Recorder. After unticking the option, it works.
No idea how the box got ticked in the first place, maybe it’s the default setting?

This is not a default setting so it may have already been configured. The setting under Prefs > Recorder are for the on premise recording solution calling UVC Video Center. Because you already have Amplify, there is no need for this setting to be on.

Yes, I'm quite relieved to have worked it out! We've never had an on-prem recording device, so it'll have to remain a mystery how that option was enabled. Thanks for following up anyway.
