We are connecting an Icon 600 and will be configuring for integrated audio and I have not found information regarding the physical audio in and out connections.
They are unbalanced.
The Line-In jack supports line-level stereo inputs from laptops, MP3 players, camcorders, etc. It also supports electret type microphones that are commonly used in headsets and lapel microphones. Electret microphones require a DC bias that the jack provides.
3.5mm stereo jack
Unbalanced Left Channel - Tip Right Channel - Ring
Full Scale Input
+4dBu = 1.23V rms = 3.47V p-p -16dBV = 0.158V rms = 0.448V p-p -31dBV = 0.0292V rms = 0.0797V p-p
20Hz - 20KHz
DC Bias Voltage
DC Bias Impedance
AC Input Impedance
The Line Out jack supports connecting to powered speakers, recording with devices such as laptops or tape recorders, and can also drive headphones and headsets. The output does not deliver enough power to connect to a speaker directly.
Unbalance Left Channel - Tip Right Channel - Ring
Full Scale Output
+4dBu = +1.2dBV = 1.14V RMS = 3.25V p-p
Frequency Response RL = 10K
20Hz - 20KHz
Minimum Headphone Impedance
Hope that helps,
Thanks Michael. When configured as a line input, does the jack still carry the 5V bias?
Yes sir, it does. The bias voltage is always present.
