Can i use UVC Video Center without Lifesize Cloud? i want to recording localy without passing by PoP Server?
Yes, Videocenter can be used with or without Cloud.
thanks Kevin, with that i will avoid to passing by pop server?
The 220 or Icon sends a one way encoded video stream directly to Videocenter where it can be relayed as a stream to computers and or recorded for playback at a later time.
but what about mobiles and computers?
I want to link 4 sites by internet using one UVC Center without cloud, in this case can i communicate without passing by pop server?
my architeture is like this:
Mobile devices and computers would be viewers of the stream from Videocenter and would need to be able to connect to the public IP address (except for site 4 which could use the private address) on ports TCP 80, 443, and 1935. Lifesize Cloud is not needed for this scenario. Here is a diagram that explains further.
thanks Kevin for information, but i can't recording call from Mobiles & computers?
My object is to setup systms working without cloud but same foncionnality recording from Icon, 220 endpoint, web based mobile user and web based desktop user
Thanks Kevin again
220's and Icons record to Videocenter by sending a one way encoded stream directly to the server. Third party devices can record to Videocenter with SIP dial in or out. Lifesize tests with third party endpoints (see list in link below) but does not officially test with any mobile or computer based clients. Web based calling uses Web RTC technology, not SIP and therefore would not be able to record to Videocenter.
so from web based mobile user and web based desktop user we can put call to another entities but without recording?
What software are you using for the web based and mobile users? Cloud would provide these but you mentioned not wanting to use it.
