Hi Marc, can you expand on what sort of management you need to do on screen? We do offer various types of layout management already through Cloud depending on the context of your needs. If it's not something we already have I can let you know if it's on the roadmap.
I would like the ability to “pin” a certain member fullscreen on the desktop client and arrange the other viewers. Being able to decide what participant is full screen is the biggest need.
I'm going to check with product, but I haven't heard any discussion around pinning video participants in place. On the backend you have 2 layout modes to choose from, 1 allows you to have up to 4 participants using the same amount of screen space before switching to the mode that auto-focuses on the active speaker.
While presenting, you also have the ability to resize the presentation stream, and even pop it out into a separate window which is handy if you're working at a desk with multiple monitors.
I know neither of those are quite what you're looking for but hoping it may offer some value. As I mentioned I will follow up with product to see if video participant pinning is on the road map. If you have any questions on the above in the interim let me know.
I confirmed with the product team that while we do want to bring this feature to Cloud, it is not on the near term roadmap. If I get word that this gets added to the roadmap I will update you here.
