We get a helicopter sound when connecting an older Polycom system (VSX 7000 Release 8.5.2) to lifesize cloud. It happens at all speeds.
How can I troubleshoot this since I can't see what audio codec is being negotiated on the cloud side.
Hi, You should be able to see the audio codec negotiated when looking at the call statistics on the VSX on-screen GUI. However, I'd suggest is updating the software on your unit because v8.5.2 is very old, being from November 2006.

Alternatively, contact your local Lifesize reseller, as I'm sure they'd love to give you a quotation to replace the old EOS unit with a nice shiny new Lifesize Icon system...
