I have brought this up various times over the years but haven't really heard anything from Lifesize. When recording to video centre, the segmenting feature affects the quality of a recording at the segment points. At every spot where a video is segmented a recording can do some really weird things that look like packet loss or something of that nature. Icon systems appear to react much worse at segment points compared to 220 systems and downloading individual segments of recordings is pointless because the first 10-15 seconds of each segment is unusable. The really unfortunate thing is that the segmenting even affects the recordings on the appliance so every video that we have on video center that's over an hour long has a 10-15 second spot where the video locks up or pixelates and then eventually recovers. Has nobody else noticed this?
