A recent Mac OS Sierra update (version 10.12.4 - released March 27th, 2017) included a feature called "Night Mode", natively. However, this brought about an issue whereby Mac users attempting to present to an Icon 600/800 over an analog cable (VGA to DVI with Thunderbolt dongle) were shown an orange/pinkish hue ONLY on the Icon display. This may not be clearly noticeable on the near-end, but far-end participants will notice the orange/pinkish hue while viewing the presentation.
Lifesize currently has a ticket open with Apple to address this. In the meantime, there are two workarounds Lifesize would like to communicate today:
1. On your Mac, open System Preferences > Display. Then press Night Shift. Toggle this ON then OFF to remove the orange/pink filter.
2. Use a DVI-D to HDMI cable (like the one Lifesize provides) for presenting on the Mac through an Icon to mitigate the analog signal.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to our Support team for more information or help with this issue. We thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue to work with Apple on this.
