Is there any way to call a sip uri by using a Lifesize Team 200 version 4.7 ?
If I try to call by using the @ chapter the call doesn't start (I'm not able to see any activities on the firewall).
By default the Lifesize endpoints will 1st try H.323 and, if it doesn't find a valid destination, then automatically try SIP.
If you need to force it to do a SIP call you can either:
- Disable H.323 on the endpoint (on Preferences > Communications > H.323)
- Precede the dealing string by a "sip:" prefix (i.e. sip:<IP address of the destination>). Example: sip:100.100.100.100

BTW you can of course use the sip: prefix to call through SIP URIs. Example: sip:firstname.lastname@example.org

If I try to call sip:<ip_address or dns name> the call start and I can see the log travelling my firewall
If I try to call sip:email@example.com the call doesn't start and the firewall doen't log anything
DNS resolution works correctly for other devices on the same subnet.
Is there any way to understand what is happening on the device? Any logs?
