We recently had a VC that due this automatic update was delayed was very awfull, we'd like to if not possible schedule the upgrades or at least this were made at night off working time.

Had the icon been off before the meeting? That could cause this issue. We suggest leaving them on and asleep so that updates are received at the appropriate time and this type of situation does not occur.
I would also recommend checking the system time that is set on the Icon as it is used to send software updates outside of normal business hours. The setting can be found on the web UI under "preferences > date and time"

From what I'm reading, it looks like we attempt to push at 10pm in each time zone:
The automated update will roll out to customers in chunks, we "follow the moon" essentially. Starting at 10pm in each time zone we will deploy to all systems online.

That is good news. The update window is between 10 PM and 6 AM. You can also be notified in advance when the updates will be pushed up by subscribing to Lifesize Cloud Status
