Are there any plans to increase the number of participants that can connect to a Virtual Meeting Room ? Currently it is limited to 50 participants. Can this be increased ?
I guess the question depends on the meeting type and your intended audience.
One option available today for town hall, training and lecture type events might be to leverage Live Streaming to reach a much larger audience. Those who're delivering content and actively contributing to the session can join the call (VMR) and those who're more passive participants can connect via a browser and watch the live stream, asking questions via the Q&A facility. I'm not sure if you've seen a demonstration of this, or whether you've trialed this capability on your Lifesize Cloud account yet?
For meeting where all participants need to be fully interactive (either as video or voice conference participants) the current maximum is upto 50 participants. However, I believe there is work on-going within our development team looking at the possibility of extending this. Maybe my colleague jduncan can provide some more information and insight for you.
I hope this helps?

Thanks for the quick reply. In our case the participants do need to be fully interactive. I have tested the live streaming facility but there was a delay of about 20 seconds which caused a bit of an issue especially when some participants were joining the VMR and others were on the live stream.
Any information on the development of this would be fully appreciated.
Shane, we do have work in progress to increase the 50 person limit on meeting participants. We don't have a launch date to share yet but the dev work is in progress.
