Because of some performance issues from our users i tried to do some tracking today to find out where our problem is.

First thing i saw when doing a traceroute to the front-end-sever which i think is responsible for us ( Frankfurt, Germany, 159.122.100.42) is, that packet are crossing Atlantic Ocean: 

Same thing occurs when im trying some other european front-end-server:

 

Only for one of the nodes the packets stay within europe:

 

Can anyone explain me, why these packets run that way and if there is a possibility to avoid that?
