Is far end camera control gone in a point to point call? I just tried doing this and the far end controls appear to be missing.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Could you provide us with more details on your experience? Our May release featured a fix for FECC in point-to-point calls for the Icon 300 & 700. What systems was your call taking place with? If you could, please open a ticket with our support team so we can better track this issue and find a fix for you!
I was in a point to point call this week from the LifeSize Thick client to an icon 800 and there wasn’t an option to control the icon 800 camera, I was not in a VMR. FECC appeared to not be available at all. As far as the case that I have already opened regarding switching between camera presets and moving cameras, it’s difficult to explain in this format but I would be glad to explain it over the phone. The case seemed to be stalled and I was told it was being worked on with no timeline for a resolution.
I also reported that LifeSize endpoints were no longer able to trigger far end camera presets properly when I am using an icon 800 with 2 cameras. Far end endpoints don’t seem to be able to trigger camera presets on an icon 800 that switch between the two cameras. I never received an update on that either.
